Dutch photographer and videographer based in Kanazawa, Japan.

Born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Earned a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design from the Willem de Kooning Art Academy and worked at a multidisciplinary design studio in Amsterdam. Moved to Tokyo in 2011 and began a career as a photographer. Has worked with various clients primarily in the fields of culture, travel, and lifestyle.

Relocated to Kanazawa in 2018. In 2022, established "hitonoto," an exhibition space focusing on daily craft items. In the same year, published a book in collaboration with "Keijiban," highlighting bulletin boards, a unique aspect of Japanese culture. In 2024, presented "The Wavering Landscape," shot in Noto peninsula.

With a documentary approach and a grounded visual style, he aim to capture the quiet beauty often overlooked in Japan’s traditional landscapes, the gaze of artisans, and the subtle presence that lingers in shrines and temples—all through a distinct and sensitive lens.

オランダ・ロッテルダム出身。Willem de Kooning Art Academyでマルチメディア・デザインの学士号を取得し、アムステルダムで多分野にわたるデザインスタジオで働く。2011年に東京に移住し、写真家としてのキャリアをスタート。カルチャー、トラベル、ライフスタイル分野を主とした様々クライアントワークを担当。2018年・金沢移住。2022年・暮らしの工芸品を中心にあつかう展示スペース「hitonoto」を立ち上げる。同年、日本のユニークな文化の一部である掲示板にスポットを当てた書籍を「Keijiban」とのコラボレーションワークで出版。2024年・能登で撮影された「The Wavering Landscape」を発表。ドキュメンタリータッチで重力のある写真と映像で、日本の原風景、職人の眼差し、神社仏閣にある気配を独特の目線で捉え、つい見過ごしてしまうような美しさに気づき残していくことを目指している。金沢を拠点に、富山、京都、東京など日本全国、海外での撮影を行う。
